The RedeeMEd Intervention Program (“RedeeMEd”) is hereby established and recognized as a separate legal entity. A duly recognized 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Charitable Tax-Exempt organization, filed in the State of Michigan.

RedeeMEd operates as a community partner of Still Standing, both organizations are   duly recognized as separate 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Charitable Tax-Exempt organizations.

Our Vision

RedeeMEd's Vision to see men transformed by the renewing of
their minds. Fortifying the family and strengthen our communities.  Cultivating a community of Redee
MEd Men who are proactively, reaching back helping other men to eradicate violence and abusive behaviors.

Program Purpose

RedeeMEd operates an accountability-based, nonviolence intervention program designed to:

  • Reduce Intimate Partner Violence                                 

  • Increase Survivor Safety                                 

  • Strengthen Community Well-Being                                 


The program serves men who have used abusive behaviors and are either court-referred or self-referred.  Providing structured education,
facilitated accountability groups, coordinated oversight. In partnership with survivor-serving agencies.

Program Description

Participants engage in a structured, curriculum-driven group program that emphasizes:
 

  • Personal accountability for harm caused

  • Understanding power, control, and coercive controlling behaviors

  • Developing nonviolent, non-abusive behaviors

  • Respecting survivor autonomy and safety

  • Compliance with court and probation requirements (when applicable)

 

Groups are facilitated by trained staff using evidence-informed batterer intervention and accountability models, aligned with Michigan standards and best practices. Participation is monitored, attendance is documented, and progress reports are shared with referring courts as appropriate.

Our Impact & Outcomes

By addressing abusive behavior at its source, the program:

  • Supports court systems and probation compliance

  • Increases safety and stability for survivors and families

  • Reduces repeat incidents of domestic violence by 89%

  • Contributes to long-term community violence prevention by 71%

​Expected outcomes include:

  •  Increased participant accountability and understanding of abusive behavior

  •    Improved compliance with court mandates

  •    Reduced re-offense risk

  •    Strengthened coordination with survivor-serving partners

  • Program effectiveness is measured through attendance tracking, curriculum completion facilitator assessments, and court compliance reporting.
