Domestic Violence

Is a purposeful pattern of assaultive and coercive behaviors that adults and or adolescents use against their partner (current or former) and sometimes against other family members causing physical, economic, or psychological harm.

Domestic Violence is marked by a climate of fear in the home.  It occurs in all communities regardless of race, class, faith, immigration status, education, gender identity, or sexual orientation.
